Production mattersYour count is posted daily. Pace is how the bonus is earned.
Quality mattersA cart counts when it passes inspection. Fast and sloppy doesn’t pay.

If that works for you, here’s exactly what it pays.

Is the money real?

Run it yourself.

This is the Repair Technician job. It’s the only role with a production bonus — the other four are flat hourly, listed on the Careers page. Base, overtime, bonus and total, the same math that goes on your stub. The zero-bonus week is in there too, because you should see the floor before you take the job, not after.

Your 40 hours are guaranteed. The overtime is normal but not promised — set the hours to 40 to see your floor. Every figure here is the real formula, and the same numbers go in your written offer before you accept.

Is the work real?

What you actually repair.

Trailers of damaged delivery carts come in. You fix them right and they ship back out. Casters, latches, doors, plastic panels, hardware — anything needing a weld or a full frame gets routed to the welder. Everything else, which is the large majority, is yours.

Every repair is logged under your own name at the point of repair. That’s what tracks your count, and it’s why good work here is impossible to miss.

The shift
Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM start, 10-hour days. Day shift only. 40 hours guaranteed, with the last 10 as overtime when volume supports it.
Tools
Fully furnished — impacts and drills, hammers and mallets, full screwdriver and Allen sets, sockets, spanners, Torx, pliers, clamps, wrenches. You don’t own or bring anything.
Your first weeks
Training at the full $20 from day one, against a written checklist you get on day one. Strong hires certify in about two weeks.
Before you start
Drug test and physical — we are a drug-free workplace. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Are there catches?

Here they are, before you ask.

Pay runs a week behind
You’re paid every Friday, one week in arrears. You work your first week, and that check lands the following Friday — one week after your first Friday. Plan for that gap before your first day.
Overtime isn’t guaranteed
The schedule is 10-hour days, so a normal week is 50 hours. Your 40 are guaranteed. The last 10 depend on volume. We would rather say that now than have you budget on hours we can’t promise. Set the calculator to 40 hours to see the floor.
No health insurance
Not at launch. We’re being straight about that — it’s on the table as we grow, and the pay is set knowing it isn’t there yet.
The bonus has a floor
It starts at 6 carts an hour. Below that it’s zero — you still make your $720, but nothing on top.
And a ceiling
It caps at 50%. We’d rather tell you where the top is than let you find it yourself.
It switches on at certification
Not a waiting period — a checklist. You get it day one and the bonus starts the day you clear it.
Comebacks only count once
If a cart fails inspection you fix it. No write-up for the comeback itself, but it doesn’t count twice.
Time off starts at 60 days
5 paid holidays and one full week of paid vacation. Vacation days pay a full 8-hour day.

Is the company real?

New company. Fair question.

Can I do this job?

There’s no resume screen. There’s a checklist.

This is the standard you’re certified against, posted here so you can decide for yourself before you apply. Your bonus turns on the day you clear it.

Run the repair form in order on every cart, without skipping a step

Diagnose and replace directional-lock and total-lock casters to spec

Repair or replace hinges, latches, and molded plastic panels

Recognize a weld or full-frame job and route it to majors, correctly, every time

Pass the fold-down and re-nest check before the cart leaves your cell

Log every repair yourself, at the point of repair

Hold a per-hour pace without sending comebacks to QA

Repair Technician

Monday–Friday · 7:30 AM start · 8–10 hour shifts

$18.00/hrguaranteed + weekly production bonus
$828/wk at 40 hrs · $1,138/wk at 50
about $43,000–$59,200/yr at a steady pace
The work
Diagnose and repair delivery carts — casters, latches, doors, plastic panels, hardware — to a written standard. Anything needing a weld or a full frame gets routed to the welder; everything else, the large majority, is yours. Every repair is logged under your own name at the point of repair.
You need
Mechanical aptitude and hand-tool comfort. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Able to work on your feet for a full shift and use hand and power tools repetitively. Drug test and physical before you start — we are a drug-free workplace.
You don’t need
Cart experience — nobody has it. Automotive, pallet, equipment or general repair background helps but isn’t required. No resume. No tools of your own.
Training
At the full $18 from day one, against a written checklist you get on day one. Strong hires certify in about two weeks, and the bonus switches on the day you clear it.

QA Inspector

Monday–Friday · day shift

$22.00/hr$880/wk at 40 hrs · $1,210/wk at 50
$45,760–$62,920/yr
The work
Final inspection on every repaired cart before it ships — hinges, latches, panels, caster function, door and frame condition, fold-down and re-nest. You are the last set of eyes and the reason our name on a repair means something.
You need
Sharp attention to detail, the mechanical familiarity to know what “right” looks like, and the backbone to call it like you see it — including with people you work alongside every day. Drug test and physical before you start — we are a drug-free workplace.
The deal
Nobody gets punished for a catch, including you. When you find a problem, that is the system working as intended.

Loader / Material Handler

Monday–Friday · day shift

$17.00/hr$680/wk at 40 hrs · $935/wk at 50
$35,360–$48,620/yr
The work
Unload inbound trailers, stage carts to the repair line, pull finished carts away, and load outbound. Technicians never leave their cell for a cart or a part — that is this job, and the shop’s whole pace runs through it.
You need
Physical stamina and dependability. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Forklift experience is a plus, not a requirement. Drug test and physical before you start — we are a drug-free workplace.

Welder — Major Repairs

Part-time to start · 2–3 days a week · converts to full-time

$25.00/hrflat · $1,000/wk at 40 hrs, $1,375 at 50 once full-time
production incentive added once volume is measured
The work
MIG welding on steel cart frames — bend-and-reweld repairs and, less often, full frame replacements. Straightforward structural welds, high volume, indoors. Roughly 7–8% of carts come to you as majors; the rest of your day you work minor repairs alongside the technicians, so you are never standing around waiting for a frame.
You need
Solid MIG experience. Certification is a plus, not a requirement. Drug test and physical before you start — we are a drug-free workplace.
The interview
You weld for us, we look at it. That is the whole evaluation.
Equipment
Fully furnished, including the welder, angle grinder and a hydraulic ram for straightening.

Yard / Dock

Monday–Friday · day shift

$25.00/hr$1,000/wk at 40 hrs · $1,375/wk at 50
$52,000–$71,500/yr
The work
Two jobs in one. Most of your day is on the yard truck — spotting trailers, backing them to the dock, pulling empties out, keeping the yard moving so nothing sits. The rest of it you’re on the dock with the crew, helping unload inbound and load outbound.
Equipment
You run the terminal tractor (yard truck), plus a forklift and a handheld for scanning. All furnished.
You need
A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Real comfort backing a trailer into a tight dock — that’s the skill this job is actually about. Drug test and physical before you start — we are a drug-free workplace.
No CDL required
Every move is on our own property, so you don’t need a commercial license to run our yard.
The trade-off
Home every night, same days every week, and nothing ships without this job done right. One missed scan means unloading and rescanning an entire trailer.

The bonus — Repair Technician only

The whole schedule, printed.

This applies to the Repair Technician job only. Welder, QA Inspector, Yard / Dock and Loader are flat hourly with no production bonus. Carts you repair that pass inspection, divided by your hours. Every cart per hour above 6 adds 5% to your whole check. Above 10, every cart adds 10%. It caps at 50%, and in-between numbers count — run 9.4 and you are paid 17%, not 15.

About · Falcon Standard, LLC

Smooth
is fast.

KINGS MOUNTAIN, NC  ·  FOUNDED 2026  ·  24,000 SQ FT

Who we are

A North Carolina repair company.

We repair delivery carts for a major national e-commerce logistics network — high volume, certified process, one facility in Kings Mountain today and a plan for nine locations by the end of 2027.

The name comes from the Fort Campbell Falcons, the football team where our founder learned that a crew who trust each other and run a standard beats talent every time. That is the whole company philosophy: build the process right, certify people against it, and speed takes care of itself.

Who’s behind it

Not a first attempt.

Falcon Standard is run by an operator with over 30 years in the trades who has built or acquired 11 businesses across construction, demolition and real estate. New industry, not a new job.

What that buys you on the floor: the standard was written before the doors opened, the tools were bought before the first hire, and payroll is not something anyone here is doing for the first time.

How we run

Five things we actually mean.

Own it

Your work has your name on it — literally, in the tracking system. That is not surveillance; it is how good work gets seen.

Safe. Fast. Right.

In that order. Safety is the gate, not one of three equal options.

Earn the next load

Every trailer we ship out right is the reason the next one comes.

Find a better way

If you see a smarter way to do it, say so. Improvement goes through the standard, not around it.

Win together. Have fun.

Fun is not a policy here. It is what a winning crew sounds like.

You will never be in trouble for flagging a problem — including your own. Bad news travels fast here on purpose. The only unforgivable thing is hiding it.

Where we’re headed

9 locations by 2027.

Today24,000 sq ft facility, Kings Mountain, NC
Year oneHundreds of carts per day, founding crew of about 12
End of 20279 locations across the Southeast

The people on the floor now are the supervisors, trainers and leads at the next locations. That is not a recruiting line — it is arithmetic. Nine locations need leadership, and we promote people who are certified on our standard.
